1930's card

Hello Crafters

This is a card I have done for my neighbour along with a matching bookmark and telephone pad, but as I have done the bookmark and telephone pad recently on my blog I didnt think you would want to see the same thing again.  So this is quite straight forward I have taken some whisper white and used the poka dot embossing folder and put it through my big shot and then matted and layered the 1930's lady up on a ruby red card.

This is one I did in a pink for my other neighbour, I  changed mind I decided to put the telephone pad on here after all hope you like it.

I need to start doing some more samples now I will be going back to using my stampin up stamps now.

Hope you like
Until tomorrow...........keep crafting

So Saffron

Hey Crafters

This started out as a 4x4 card but actually ended up as a 4x4 post it note holder, I recycled the butterflies out of a gift bag that I had been given and used my butterfly punch I even recycled the ribbon off the gift bag.

Oh and I used the polka dot embossing folder from the cuttlebug for the effect of the card.

Until tomorrow

As promised my poppy 6x6 inch card I used as before the Real Red and Pumpkin Pie ink pads.  Think its a very effective card one of my favourites at the moment.

Telephone pad

Hey Crafters...........

I have had a great day of crafting yesterday.  I'm desperately trying to use some of my scraps up and also make birthday cards for two of my neighbours.  I have done quite a bit so you will see some of these over the next few days but have to confess its not all stampin up stuff, some of things I have done have a definate 1930's feel.

Onto to todays blog though I used Green House Garden and the Real Red and Pumkin Pie ink pads to make it look like a poppy field, then the middle section was stamped with black stazon.  There has been a poppy field  close to where I live so I was kind of inspired by this, I actually made a 6 x 6 inch card out of this first and this is what was left over.  (I shall put the card on my blog tomorrow).

I matted in with black card and then folded in half then stuck some scraps of paper together and folded in half and there you have it.

Hope you like it any questions contact me on bellamy.m@sky.com

Post it Note keyring

Hey....Crafters

Im sorry to the few of you who are now following me that Im late with my blog but as well as working i've not been feeling so well so apologies.

This is a little post it note keyring which is quite cute I think.

Anyway, I have used Cottage Wall and then I recycled my Just for You tag from one of the Stampin up parties I have been to recently I think Peg used Melon Mambo and matted onto Choc chip (I may be wrong though).  I split the little post it notes, this is because its too thick to put through the Cropper Dile put a small jump ring through the hole and just dressed it up with Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo ribbon.

Hope you like

Until tomorrow

Live your Dream Card

Hey.... Crafters

This card was a simple but good mistake where I was just messing around with this stamp set to see what I could create and once I had matted and layered thought it made quite a good card, I think this would be good as some notelets too................

Anyway...... I have used Rich Razzleberry and Orchard Opulence inks with Rich Razzleberry designer paper.

Off to work now so until tomorrow

Flight of the Butterflies Bookmark

Hey.... Crafters

This is a bookmark stamped in Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry.

I often wondered what I could do with the bit of card that is left after you have done a 6 x 6 card and I had thought about a bookmark but wasn't sure it looked right.  Sometimes its about having the the confidence in doing something and having seen a couple of Peggy's samples I thought I would give it ago.  Thanks Peg.  Im going to incorporate this idea maybe into a card/gift idea

see you tomorrow

Fox and Friends

Hey Bloggers

This is my first blog so I hope you enjoy and continue to enjoy further samples........I have used the tortoise in the Fox and Friends Stampin up set and stamped it in Old Olive, and then matted it on Choc Chip paper and layered this onto Perfect Plum designer paper, I just then finished it off with a bit of Old Olive and Whisper White ribbon.

I'm loving this Stampin up set as its so versatile I'm sure you will see more in the not to distance future.

untill......tomorrow
